About the festival

An annual celebration of the premium wear of the Igbo man.

Our story

Culture is what a people wear and what a people eat.

Imo Fashion Festival is the biggest fashion festival in South-East Nigeria and an avenue to show the world the premium dressing of the Igbo man: George, Akwete, Isi-agu, Mboroma and Akpọ.

Not the ordinary Isi-agu on an ordinary stage. The festival is built to feel so luxurious that guests imagine how much a designer spent sewing each piece.

It is an annual event, not a one-off. Every edition will be recorded here so that what happened, what is happening and what will happen are always one click away, for people in Owerri and for the community abroad.

“It is something that consistently is going to happen.”
